Policies and Procedures

Policies and Procedures

 

1.  The Wedding Form - must be completed, signed, and returned to the church receptionsist along with the wedding custodial fees.  Upon approval by the church staff, the wedding date will be placed on the church calendar and the Wedding Coordinator will be notified.

 

2.  The Wedding Director - will be one in authority at the rehearsal and the wedding.  To avoid confusion, she will make arrangements for any TCQC staff needed.

 3.  Decorating - must be done during the office hours of the church.  A $5.00 per hour fee will be charged for any unscheduled times.  Only ladies from the Wedding Ministry will be allowed to decorate if church candelabra and greenery are being used. (See wedding packages)

 

4.  Deliveries - such as wedding cake, flowers, etc. must be made during the hours provided for the wedding.  A $20.00 fee will be charged for any deliveries scheduled outside these hours.

 

5. The marriage license - must be presented to the minister or the Wedding Director before the wedding ceremony, preferable the night of the rehearsal.                                        

 

6.  No weddings - will be scheduled on holiday weekends.  Exceptions may be made through the Wedding Ministry Coordinator and an additional expense of $200 will be charged. 

 

7.  All weddings must be scheduled for no later than 7:00 p.m.

 

8.  An Initial deposit - of $300 (nonrefundalbe) is required before the wedding date will be placed on the church calendar.

 

9.  All fees - other than the initial fees are due and payable to the Wedding Ministry Coordinator no later than two weeks before the wedding.

 

10.  Each wedding party - is allowed 6 hours on the day of the wedding from the time the church is opened until the wedding party leaves.  A charge of $25 will be assessed for every hour over.  Please make your photographer aware of the time allotments.

 

11.  Wedding rehearsals - should last no longer than one hour, if everyone arrives on time.  Rehearsal dinners are allowed to be ctered in the parlor if approved by the church staff.  A custodial fee will be charged.

 

 


MUSIC:

 

All music must be pre-approved by the Wedding Ministry Coordinator.  Music should be edifying and apropriate for a Christian wedding.  The Director will help with music ideas if you have questions.

 


 PHOTOGRAPHY:

 

Pictures are allowed before, during, and after the wedding.  The only requirements are that no STILL photography with flash be taken during the ceremony.  Our beautiful Worship Center allows for beautiful pictures, so get as many as possible.  Thirty minutes are allowed after the ceremony for your photographer to finish with pictures not taken before the wedding.  Please make your photographer aware of the time allotments for the church.

 


VIDEO:

 

Involves a crew of five people: three cameramen, one director, and one video sound person.  This crew will video your wedding with professional cameras and have your video ready to be sent home with you the day of the wedding.  the Wedding Minstry Coordinator will make arrangements for this video crew if you so choose.  Fees are included in the wedding packages.

 


 SOUND:

 

Is provided by some of the best sound men in the city.  These men are professionals and will give your wedding the highest quality of sound.  Only TCQC sound men are allowed to use our system.  The sound system must be used for all weddings held in the Worship Center.  The bride and groom will also be provided with one audio tape of their wedding at no extra charge.
