E-GIVING – A NEW WAY TO GIVE
….What it is and how to get connected
In response to many requests from our church members, we are now offering the opportunity for automatic giving online which we will call “E-Giving.” E-Giving allows you the option of convenience in one of the most important areas of your family’s monthly budget – your gifts to the Lord.
How does E-Giving work?
When you give on-line, the money may be drafted from your checking account or charged to your credit card. You will be able to give toward your regular tithe or designated gifts.
Can I schedule recurring donations?
Yes, you can specify whether you want your contribution made one time, weekly, twice per month, monthly or quarterly. You can set up as many schedules as you would like, so it is possible to give a monthly gift as well as a weekly one.
What if I want to adjust the date or amount of a contribution?
You can edit or delete a scheduled contribution at any time, including the schedule on your automatic bank draft or your credit card.
Is online giving secure?
We’ve taken steps to ensure that the giving process is safe and secure from beginning to end. All of your given data is secured through McAfee Secure that provides communications privacy over the Internet. McAfee Secure websites have passed a set of daily security scans that helps address your security concerns like hackers stealing your confidential information.
How do I get started?
Go online to the church website and click on “E-Giving.” This will link you with the site for online giving. From there on, just follow the directions. If the church office has your e-mail address, you should have already received this information including your password to get on the site. If you have not received your password and would like to get started in E-Giving, just call the church office and talk to our receptionist, Ruby Saunders, or our financial secretary, Della Sissel.
Who do I talk to if I have more questions?
You may contact Della Sissel in the Financial Office at 358-7681 and she will be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
What if I don’t use a computer?
If you don’t use a computer but would like to have your gifts automatically drafted, just fill out the e-giving form enclosed in this bulletin, insert into an offering envelope located in the back of the pew and drop into the offering plate when passed, or you may call Della Sissel in the church office.
